Our tree specialists hold the appropriate chainsaw Certificates of Competence and back this up with years of experience.

Other relevant Certificates of Competence such as pesticide application, and use of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (cherry pickers) are held by selected personnel.

All work is carried out with reference to British Standard 3998 (Tree Work).

We are member of the Arboricultural Group of the Forestry Contracting Association

Our safety credentials

We have a commitment to looking after the safety of our workforce, our customers, and the public at large. We involve electricity companies, highway authorities, the police, and others, to ensure that our work is completed, not only to the highest standard, but also without compromising safety.

Our environmental credentials

As a business, we are committed to minimising our impact on the environment We do this by:

  • Using biodegradable oils when suitable oils are available;
  • Recycling waste material from our operations, usually as firewood, mulch or biomass for power generation;
  • Having regard for the impact of our operations on birds, bats and other wildlife;
  • Ensuring machinery is regularly serviced to minimise all forms of pollution (noise, exhaust emissions, fluid leaks).
